Hi, everyone! For my last “Scribbling” article this year I thought I would give you a summer bucket list. Of course, you don’t need to do these things to have a great summer, but these are some fun ideas. If you’ve been looking at a blank calendar and wanted some things to do, keep reading! Summer is a great time to try something new. I am going to try to do some of these things and would love to know if you do them.
1. Go for a hike.
Grab a friend, and find a trail that interests you! It can range from a two-mile trail or a whole-day adventure. The weather is so nice in the summer, and if it gets close to night, you could make s’mores
2. Make homemade ice cream.
You could do it the old school salt and ice in a bag way, or you could use a blender or an ice cream maker. It is always so rewarding when you make it yourself. Make summer-y flavors with watermelon or lime.
3. Read a book in the park.
Pick up a good book, and read in nature. Maybe it’s your summer reading book?
4. Plant something.
You could plant flowers in your backyard or make a pot on your windowsill. With all the sun it makes it easy for plants to grow.
5. Write a letter.
Isn’t it exciting to get mail? I always find it fun to open an envelope, so try writing a letter to a friend.
Have a Goodin day,
